Growth in times of crisis
Monday, 08 February 2010Infobest was able to grow its business volume in 2009 despite of increasingly difficult market conditions. The general investment climate grew worse last year, which lead to higher pressure on our mainly Germany-based onsite services. Most large corporations introduced cost cutting activities, in the wake of which external IT services were largely reduced. Our onshore business, mainly defined by our standard applications for CRM, project management and helpdesks, remained largely unaffected.
What brought Infobest massive growth in 2009 and led to an overall positive performance, was the nearshore segment which benefited from the general trend to cut costs in IT. Next to some very interesting new clients in the medium-sized segment, we managed to sign substantial long-term contracts with some major accounts like Continental and Rewe Touristik. As a result of this development, our staff in Romania grew considerably last year and it seems that this trend will prolong well into 2010
