Risk Analysis
Risks cannot always be avoided, but controlled. This requires the thorough analysis of all potential risk factors at the beginning of a project. Risks can be of various types like technical, organizational, political, financial, etc. and it is important to evaluate both their probability of becoming real and the impact they would have on the project in such a case.
Corrective Actions
Based on probability and impact, successful risk management needs to define corrective actions for avoiding, reducing or counterbalancing risks. These can be sometimes very easy organizational matters; sometimes they might require more substantial efforts. And in some cases risk management may mean that no corrective action is possible at all or only at a cost which would defy the project's business case.
Risk Management
Our project managers follow up on all identified risks and agreed corrective actions throughout the whole project. Regular checks and reviews in this context are part of our quality assurance system.
